Covid-19 Protocols

Mask Requirements

Your health is our concern; our face mask policy is to help ensure your safety and that of all the guests in the Museum.

All persons aged 3 and above must wear a face mask that covers the nose and mouth while inside the museum. We understand that children may have a difficult time keeping their masks on and ask that the adults with them help ensure this requirement is adhered to.

Masks are not compulsory in the outdoor areas of the museum.

Cleaning

The museum has a restroom to encourage handwashing throughout your stay. The restroom is fitted with soap, running water and hand sanitizers.

The museum is cleaned daily and materials cleaned before each group visit.

Entrance

School trips and large group trips must be booked in advance. We do not allow walk-ins for groups of over 20 persons.

Once a booking with over 20 persons is made for the use of our indoor space, the museum may be closed to other guests for the specified time slot.

 Social Distancing

The CDC recommends keeping a distance of 6ft between yourself and strangers at all times. If an exhibit is already occupied by a group/family when you get there, kindly visit another exhibit until that exhibit is free.

If the museum gets overcrowded with people who are not from the same cohort, we will redirect some guests outdoors. However, this only applies if the people entered the museum separately.

If you come in as a group, the above-described situation does not apply.

For our Comfort and Yours

If you feel unwell or exhibit symptoms you are unsure about, please stay home until you feel better.

We understand that each person may have different views and opinions about covid and the safety regulations mentioned above; however, we kindly ask that you adhere to them as our museum is open to all persons, some of whom may not share your views or opinions on this matter.

A disregard of the covid regulations may deny you entry into the museum.

Thank you for your understanding.
